Maiden voyage 4-21-10

After launch, we motored over to our marina and set the dock lines. Shortly thereafter, I along with my first mate set sail on our maiden voyage aboard Domingoman! What a treat! Our marina is very protected so there wasn't a lot of wind. It freshened a tad once we got out to the bay. It was a little rainy, but that is what foul weather gear is for!

Motoring through Back Creek on our way out to see what she has!

Under sail with nobody to take a pic

On a beat in 4 knots of wind

Captain Rizzo isn't too happy!

The breeze freshened to 15 knots and we were quickly up to hull speed. Any more wind and we would have needed to put a reef in the main. All in all, she handles very well and I am really surprised how well she sails in light air.
